How much does Breast augmentation cost in Baltimore, Maryland?

A woman saving money in piggy bank.

Patients who call our office looking for Breast augmentation information are usually also gathering total surgical cost prices as well as financing information. This week, our office did a little bit of secret shopping to find out what the average cost of a breast augmentation procedure is in Baltimore.

What is included in total cost?

Remember that Breast augmentation Total Costs depend on whether you select silicone or saline Implants. When patients come into the office, most are aware that silicone implants cost more than saline. We compared costs of both. To be clear, we define total Breast augmentation cost to include the following:

total Breast augmentation price $ = surgeon’s fee + implants OR facility fee + anesthesia

The results of our little pricing survey revealed a few things:

  • Baltimore has a huge selection of experienced Board certified plastic surgeons!
  • Breast augmentation cost is not a function of the length of time the surgeon has been in practice
  • Silicone implant Total Cost is approximately $1000 greater than saline total costs
  • Total average Cost of 10 surgeons: saline $6033, silicone  $7003
  • All surgeons, except for one, quote total cost without a pain pump.

Breast Augmentation prices 2024

2024 cost of silicone implants is $6000 with the pain pump

Our current prices are good for procedures performed in 2024 . Total cost for Breast augmentation with silicone implants is $6000 with the pain pump. If you are having very large implants, Dr. Rodriguez may recommend the addition of the Durasorb internal bra. This internal bra provides for more tissue support to protect the implants from sagging.

Procedures are eligible for financing but some restrictions do apply.

I’ve been researching for so long and I feel very confident that I need to consult with you ASAP! I live in NY and had a TT in 2018, only 3 months after my 3rd (and final!)c section. Sadly, the mesh repair has failed and the TT itself wasn’t what I wanted… I was pulled and skin removed but belly button never touched. It looks rather, weird! I have one more shot to get this right!

I wanted an average price for a dual surgery, a tummy tuck and breast lift? I'm 47 years old and I currently have D cup breasts that sag terribly. I'm curious what sort of price tag I would incur to correct some of my issues.
    • Dr. Ricardo L Rodriguez says:

  • Laura G says:

I was wondering if the silicone price is the same if you decide to get the "gummy bear" silicone implants. Do you use these implants on your patients?
    • Dr. Ricardo L Rodriguez says:

Laura G: "Gummy Bear" implants are a poorly understood category of implants. A lot of other implants that have "cohesive gel" are a little firmer than the older type liquid gel, and the silicone sticks together, thus the name cohesive. The gummy bear implant is VERY stiff, and is used mainly for breast reconstruction or in cases where there is a high risk of capsular contracture. It is very firm so it will resist the forces of capsular contracture. I use Gummy Bear, but only for reconstruction cases. They are too firm and do not feel natural.
  • Patricia Kieley says:

I have breast implants that are now 25 yrs. old! They are silicone and under the muscle. I have never had any problems with them and have always looked natural. But after 25 years, gravity has taken over. I would like to have them removed and replaced. The incision for original surgery was made under the breast and is not visible. I have read that removing/replacing is a somewhat less complicated procedure than a first time implant and am wondering if a)this is true and b) if it would be any less expensive. Thank you.
    • Dr. Ricardo L Rodriguez says:

Patricia: If, as you say they are drooping, your breasts may need a lift. You may or not need to have the implants replaced. Without seeing them I can't render an opinion. I will have Kelly at kelly@cosmeticsurg.net contact you if you are interested in advice or a more specific advice based on a more complete set of information. As for pricing, without knowing what was originally charged, there is no way I can say anything.
